Can you tell us a little about your background before starting at your company?
I started out in business and healthcare but have always been on the entrepreneurial side of it. I recently made a big pivot from being a startup founder to now running a family office that has a variety of businesses under it, such as this accounting firm.
How did you start at your company? What were the first steps you took to get it off the ground and how did you identify the need for your product/service in the market?
My mom has been a CPA for 30+ years and a business mogul, so I was inspired by her to join in on what she has built and take it to the next level. I started to build out my own client list by talking to people I was familiar with, which were startup founders, who needed trusted financial and accounting partners.
What innovations or unique features set your company apart from others in the industry?
There’s not many accounting firms that can say they have in-house founders who have built, bought, and sold companies, so those similar experiences have better connected us to our customers.
What has been the most effective strategy for scaling your business?
Being a part of communities of entrepreneurs.
Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future of your company?
We hope to be the go-to accounting firm for founders and business owners who are interested in working with real people like them!
