Can you tell us a little about your background before starting at your company
I grew up in a family full of creativity and ambition. My dad built a career in film production, and my mom is a first-generation Mexican American, who became a Fortune 500 lawyer. That mix of creativity and grit shaped everything about me.
My own path took me from assisting on Forbes cover shoots to working on the Kenneth Cole production team to building a career across photography, marketing, and design. But the through line in every role semed to be redundancies everywhere. A lack of real systems leads to chaos. Everyone running fast but staying in the same place, and it created burnout. And the invisible labor behind it always fell hardest on women, queer creatives, and POC professionals like me. Those experiences shaped everything about how I understand work and what needs to change.
How did you start at your company and what were the first steps you took to get it off the ground?
I started at Chambiar as the UI and UX designer, but the role evolved quickly. I began studying workflows, and translating the needs of real users into something they could actually enjoy using. After seven months, I stepped into the leadership role of Co-CEO because the work required someone who could bridge creative vision, product direction, and user understanding.
The idea for Chambiar came from pure exhaustion. Our founder was overwhelmed by the chaos of modern work as a former lawyer. Too many tools, nothing is connected, no tool feels helpful from start to end. The challenge became building the solution. Design is one part of it. Creating a platform that is user-friendly, frictionless, and a genuine necessity is the real work.
What innovations or unique features set your company apart?
My perspective as a queer creative with deep experience in AI workflows shaped the center of our platform. Chambiar could not just look different. It had to operate differently.
The simplest way to explain it is this. You can start your workday at nine, open Chambiar, close your laptop at five, and never leave the platform once. Every workflow and every tool is integrated. Inside that ecosystem lives Maria, our built in AI coworker. She performs tasks. She manages your systems. She joins your meetings. She hosts meetings. She can even attend a meeting for you. Communication happens inside Chambiar because your entire workflow lives inside one environment.
That allows us to give users real visibility into how their work benefits them and their company. Insights that actually matter. Insights that affect promotions, workload, burnout, and growth.
What has been the most effective strategy for scaling your business?
Building in person and building in public. Letting people into the story instead of pretending everything is polished. People do not connect with perfection. Not even investors they connect with founders who are real, honest, and credible.
Showing the trials, pivots, wins, and lessons created a genuine community. That community created traction. Traction created momentum.
Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future of your company?
Our goal is to expand Chambiar into a powerful platform that reshapes how entire industries work. We are not building AI to replace people. We are building AI to support and uplift the people behind the roles as those roles evolve. That means eliminating redundancy, removing chaos, reducing burnout, and creating the most productive and profitable workforce companies have ever seen.
We want a future where work feels lighter, smarter, more transparent, and more human. A future where people have evenings and weekends again. Chambiar is how we plan to build that future.
