Can you tell us a little about your background before starting at your company?
Working on M-Pesa and helping scale the Duck Creek platform gave me a front-row view of how industries truly operate. What I kept seeing was both, lack of technology and broken workflows.
That realization stayed with me. It is the reason everything we build today is grounded in how real systems behave in practice, not how we wish they worked.
How did you start at your company? What were the first steps you took to get it off the ground and how did you identify the need for your product/service in the market?
Mango Mousse AI was born from seeing the same pain across organizations. The kind you feel when inefficiencies repeat themselves every single day.
Agents re-entering the same data. Customers reaching out across multiple channels with no continuity. Teams spending more time chasing information than serving customers.
Early on, I knew that replacing legacy systems was not the answer. So we took a different approach. We built something that works with them.
We started speaking with agents and operators to understand what truly slows them down. The document chase. The back and forth before a quote even begins. From there, we built prototypes with one goal in mind. Give people their time back.
What innovations or unique features set your company apart from others in the industry?
Many tools in the market solve one part of the problem. A better OCR here. A chatbot there.
I wanted to build something that understands the entire workflow. That is what led to Cortex Platform (The layer of intelligence). It is a coordination layer that sits across existing systems and moves work forward.

What has been the most effective strategy for scaling your business?
We have grown by being intentional. We go deep instead of spreading thin.
Our focus has been on agencies, TPAs & MGAs because that is where the pain is most immediate. We are not here to disrupt existing systems. We work within them and make them better.
Instead of relying on slides, we lead with live demos. When someone sees a workflow that used to take hours reduced to minutes, the value becomes clear.
Most importantly, every execution through us makes the Cortex Platform smarter- That’s our USP, a self learning system. The value compounds over time instead of leveling off.
Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future of your company?
Insurance organizations should focus on building customer relationships and trust – not managing operational fatigue.
