CompScience is a workplace safety analytics company that uses computer vision and AI to identify risks before they result in injury. Their technology helps employers reduce claims, protect workers, and improve performance—turning safety into a business advantage.

As they expanded into new industries and grew their broker relationships, CompScience needed a clearer way to communicate their value and mission.

Their brand didn't yet reflect the scale of their vision or the depth of their technology. We partnered with them to reshape how they tell their story, define their strategy, and present themselves to the world.

Workplace safety has long been framed around compliance and cost. With CompScience, the narrative was switched to be about what becomes possible when workers are protected, brokers are empowered, and businesses can thrive without preventable setbacks.

Historically, safety tech has focused on detection after incidents or surface-level fixes. The challenge was to reframe the entire conversation, from reactive to proactive, from risk avoidance to opportunity creation.

The brand needed to speak to three audiences at once—workers, brokers, and businesses—while uniting them under one powerful narrative and aligning their goals and motivations:

"Success through safety"

We focused on elevating CompScience's core belief—that reducing injuries isn't just good safety practice, it's smart business. That with the right technology and insights, companies can improve operations, protect their people, and create a culture that fuels productivity and trust.

The new brand story and messaging framework was built around a combination of brand personality descriptors and a group of core beliefs that CompScience champions and uses as a guide toward achieving their mission.

Brand Identity & Guidelines

With CompScience’s narrative centered on maximizing opportunity, the visual system needed to echo this future-forward mindset. At the core of the identity is the “window”—a graphic device inspired by the markers shown by the CompScience Risk Intelligence system as it scans a workspace.

These markers, traditionally used to detect and flag potential hazards, now become symbolic windows:

Each one a view into what could be—
A retirement without pain.
An employee staying on the job.
A broker securing long-term relationships.
A business operating at its peak.


This metaphor allowed us to shift the aesthetic from risk and restriction to clarity, confidence, and forward motion. The visual system uses clean lines, bold colors, and structured layouts to reflect the precision of the technology, while the "window" motif consistently ties every design element back to the core idea: Every risk detected is an opportunity realized.
